in less than a year after moving to california, how has brian assisted on and engineered sessions with artists such as jewel, ryan cabrera, rod mckuen, and paris hilton? worked side-by-side with producers and engineers such as rob cavallo (green day, phil collins), doug mckean (green day, goo goo dolls) and dave jerden (talking heads, the offspring)? and even worked on major motion pictures such as rent?

it's brian cometa's distinct background in audio engineering and computer technology that allows him to excel in this ultra-technical field. with a background in computers, education in audio engineering, and real world experience with extraordinary mentors, brian has succeeded in breaking into the audio recording industry.

from an early age, brian has been exploring the relationship between computers, music, and recording. after completing his b.a. in 2003, brian attended the conservatory of recording arts and sciences in arizona, where he earned numerous certifications and received highest honors.

in july 2004, brian moved to los angeles and began working at eldorado recording studios. within months, brian became the assistant engineer and studio manager at eldorado. this opportunity allowed brian to assist on dozens of sessions with superstar artists, engineers, and producers.

after a year at eldorado, brian jumped at a new opportunity offered to him by john strother, owner of penguin recording. penguin recording is los angeles' most distinguished analog to digital archival/recording studio. with digidesign pro tools hd3 in the "a room" and merging technologies pyramix in "b," brian maintains and operates all the digital equipment in this ultra-audiophile studio.
